Personal Statement
My name is Hannah Rose Schneider. I attend high school at the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, MD. I am a junior and will graduate in the class of 2022. My goal is to have a successful college educational experience while playing soccer at a highly competitive level. My academic interests are in the sciences, criminal justice and pre-law.
I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old and since U8 I have been developing as a player with the Bethesda Soccer Club. Through the years, I have challenged myself to become a better player by playing in competitive environments such as ODP, SYL and ECNL. My resiliency, strong work ethic, competitive nature and determination to succeed has guided my approach to academics, training and games. Managing being an athlete and my rigorous education load requires me to prioritize and manage my time effectively which will help me prepare for college academic and soccer expectations.
As a player, I have strong technical and tactical skills and a great understanding of the game. I am tenacious, versatile, motivated, not afraid of hard work or failure, accepting of feedback to improve my game and most importantly, I am a team player. I strongly believe in teamwork as the road to success and building positive relationships with my teammates on and off the field.
