I am independent, focused, and determined athlete and student who is a team player. I am exceptionally fast on the field, and have the endurance and stamina to play a full intense game. My speed and shot is what makes me an asset for my team. Playing both overseas in Vietnam, and in the USA has taught me and exposed me to a more diverse set of players, tactics, and skills.
I am class of 2027 at Walt Whitman High School (#1 public high school in Maryland), Bethesda, Maryland who has a 4.0 GPA (unweighted) and takes all honors and AP classes. I started playing soccer overseas when I lived in Vietnam. I didn’t have much experience playing soccer when I joined my first team. I joined the only girls team in Hanoi, and it was a primarily French speaking team. I had to adapt to the challenge, and was able to experience the joy playing soccer gave me. In addition to playing with a coach who had limited English and spoke to us in French and being the only girls team in the Hanoi Youth Football League, we played against boys teams. I played a variety of attacking positions during this time (CAM, CDM and RW).
Currently I play for FCGB Center of Excellence as primarily a striker, and attacking winger on both the 09 blue and red team. Although I love soccer, I am also a dual athlete as I swim competitively at the regional level. I swim at the National Capital Swim Club (NCAP), one of the top clubs in the Nation. I have qualified for the Junior Olympics (both SC and LC), MCSL All-Star meets, and MCSL Long-Course meets. This has benefited my soccer abilities and performances by building my endurance, muscular strength and breathing.
