My goal for college is to get a great education that prepares me for my future career and to play soccer at the highest level. I want to contribute to the success of the soccer program through my play, leadership, and by being a great teammate. I ultimately want to play a key role on a team that competes for its conference championship, plays in the NCAA tournament, and is respected for its play, sportsmanship, and academic achievements.
I am a competitor in everything I do, whether it's in the classroom or on the field. I work hard not only to make myself better, but to push those around me to be better, too. I just have this drive to be my best and I never want let myself, my team, or my coaches down. It is why I train year-round to develop my skills, stay physically and mentally fit, and maintain healthy habits. I know from my family members' experiences the dedication, commitment, and hard work that are needed to be a successful student-athlete in college. I have confidence in my abilities and I know I have the heart, the discipline, and the work ethic to be successful anywhere I go.
I am a big believer in giving back and being a positive contributor in my community. I am involved in several clubs that support people with disabilities and I have raised money for Special Olympics by taking the Polar Bear Plunge. I have served as the GK trainer for my high school's JV team and volunteered as a trainer at the Pells Keeper School (PKS) teaching younger players how to play the position.
I am a strong student who knows how to balance school, clubs, a social life as well as ECNL and high school soccer. I am taking all honors courses in addition to Gifted and Talented (GT) English and I will be taking multiple AP courses next year.
