I started playing soccer in 6th grade, on a local recreational team. I quickly took an interest in the game and wanted to improve. Although I did not have the skill level or the soccer IQ, I knew that the only way to get better was to work hard and to play with more talented players. I joined FC Frederick mid-season and made the lowest team. After a few months of playing for my club team, I earned a spot on the Maryland ODP team. Over the next two years, I went to camps, clinics, and took private lessons in order to improve. As a result, I have played on the Maryland ODP team for three years, and this year I was selected for the East Region team. The Maryland ODP team and the East Region team gave me the opportunity to play internationally in London (2016), Barcelona (2017), and Scotland (2018). I have a strong work ethic and a desire to continue to improve.
During my time playing soccer I have learned what it means to be a leader. My coaches depend on me to get my team motivated and energized. Two of my greatest assets are my versatility and speed. I am capable of playing almost any position on the field, both offensively and defensively.
I am looking for an opportunity to continue being challenged both academically and athletically.
