Highlight Video: ...Since the moment I stepped onto the soccer field at the age of 5 to now being 17 and a captain and starter for my school's varsity soccer team. Soccer has become a part of me and shaped me into the person I am today both academically and athletically. On the field I am an aggressive, passionate and motivated player who is determined to leading my team to victories. Every time I step onto the field I am sure to give it my all whether it is a practice or a game I provide my coaches and teammates with 110% of my abilities and efforts. For as long as I can remember I have been taught that a spot and or playing time is not given it is earned. Everyday, whether it's at practices, training or at home by myself I am undergoing tedious drills and tiring runs to push myself and make me a better player. Sacrifice is apart of the process and I do it for my love and passion of the game. My goal is to consistently prove to my teammates and coaches that I am capable of fulfilling my spot and the playing time I get. On and off the field I am a leader and am consistently motivating my teammates in games, practices and school. Along with guiding and being there for them. Everyday I am pushing myself to be the best player and teammate I can be. I strongly believe there is always room for improvement and that there is no limit to how far I can go.
In the classroom I make sure I am doing the best I can to maintain excellent grades and personal relationships with all my teachers. For the past 13 years that I've been playing Soccer I have been able to find a balance between academics and athletics. It is not always easy and requires time management skills and good discipline. My intentions for college and my future is to achieve a degree in health sciences or biology on a pre-med track. Hoping for the outcome of eventually becoming a doctor or a general surgeon.
