My name is Olivia Dunham and I am from Mansfield, Massachusetts. I attend Mansfield High School and will graduate in 2026.
My soccer career started at 3-years old at the local YMCA. I have been rostered in multiple teams and age groups (frequently playing up to 3 years my age). I’ve been tagged as a versatile player - often called a “secret weapon”. However, I found my true passion playing as a defender and I‘ve never looked back!
Since 2020, I‘ve participated in the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP). I’ve been selected not only for our State Team but the East Region Team for three consecutive years. I'm looking forward to attending the 2024 ODP Interregional Tournament next January in Florida.
I play for Mansfield High School Varsity Team. Last year, I earned my first varsity letter as a starting freshman, playing Center Back. Now in 2023, my sophomore year, I was asked to take over the defensive midfielder position. In 2022, our HS team went to the MIAA Division 2 Final Eight in the State Tournament. This year, we went to the 2023 MIAA Division 2 State Tournament and ended as Finalists, having a record year! I have been recognized for my abilities and efforts as: 2022 Hockomock All-Stars Honorable Mention, The Sun Chronicle 2022 Girls Soccer All-Stars Honorable Mention, 2023 Hockomock League All-Stars, Eastern Mass All-Stars First Team and the Hockomocksports.com All-Stars, Best XI First Team and Underclassman of the Year (https://hockomocksports.com/awards/girls-soccer/2023-2/).
I’ve played club soccer for the past 8 years. For this upcoming 2023-24 season, I play Center Back for Scorpions ECNL 2008 national team. Outside of school and soccer, I play the violin, and enjoy volunteering in my community. I recently joined the Mansfield Little Kickers Program as a coach for children 2-4 yrs old to introduce basic soccer concepts in a fun way. Definitely, one of my favorite things to do Saturday mornings in the Fall!
I would like to continue my soccer career in college and am looking for a school that offers a challenging program both academically and athletically.
