Caitlyn Logue '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caitlyn Logue, Somerville High School class of 2025.  As a starter on the the high school varsity team since my freshman year I have had the chance to push myself beyond what I thought I could achieve on the field.

I am a versatile player who plays center back for my high school  and play several positions for my club team team (defense, holding mid, attacking mid). My dominant foot is my right but I am comfortable passing & shooting with my left foot.  I have strong field vision, good tactical awareness,  and remain calm under pressure. I am can play the ball in the air confidently and can distribute the ball with pace and weight to build out of the back. According to my coaches, my passion, dedication, soccer IQ, positive attitude on and off the field with a quirky sense of humor make me a pleasure to coach.

I am looking for a college with a strong academics program in biology/chemistry innovation with an strong interest in applied engineering in those fields.  I want a school that has strong academics and provides opportunities for their students to thrive with a solid women's soccer program that allows me to grow as a person on and off the field. I believe that soccer and academics is about teamwork -  Success on the field and in the classroom is achieved when we respect each other and work together as a team.
