Personal Statement

“Don’t practice until you get it right. Practice until you can’t get it wrong.“ - Katie Ledecky. You’re probably wondering why a soccer player would quote a famous swimmer? I started player soccer and competitive swimming around the age of 5. Growing up I had a picture of Katie Ledecky with that quote in my room and I would read it whenever I had a challenging day. After COVID I had to choose between soccer and swimming. It was becoming difficult to play club soccer on a national level and being a competitive US swimmer. So I chose my true love, SOCCER. I try to live my life applying that quote. Whether it’s school, soccer or just being a good person. During the offseason or days off. You will probably find me at the local soccer field or training with B-Doo my strength and agility coach So when the time comes. I can be the best I can be for my team and coach.
