Hello! My name is Jackie Rainville. I am a 2025 Graduate from Wayland, MA (west of Boston) and have played soccer since I was very young. I attend Wayland High School where I made the varsity team as a freshman and played full games in my first two seasons. In Fall 2022, I was named Dual County League (DCL) All Star/All Conference (top 12 players, voted by coaches) and an Eastern Mass All Star. For high school I play farther up the field at wingback, allowing me to score 7 goals and have 3 assists in Fall 2022. In September 2023 I was named a "Player to Watch" by Metrowest Daily News and voted runner-up as preseason "Player of the Year". I'll see what I can do in Fall 2023!
I play club soccer for FC Stars ECNL Blue National, 2007 (top team) for Coach Graeme Blackman who was 2021 Massachusetts girls soccer private school Coach of the Year. I have excelled under Graeme as starting outside left defensive back (4 in back). We had a strong 2021-2022 season with a 13-3 ECNL record (20-3 overall) and 2nd place finish in the ECNL New England Conference. That year we made the round of 16 teams at ECNL National Playoffs in Seattle in June 2022. In 2022-2023 we had a similarly strong season, finishing with a 7-3-4 ECNL record (too many ties!) and playing in the North American Cup in San Diego in June 2023. I am excited for what the 2023-2024 season brings!
My key assets as a player are my strong left foot, quickness on the ball to intercept passes and make fast tackles, and stamina to make line runs from the back field. My clear goal is to play soccer in college at a strong academic institution. My parents both went to good colleges and business school at Harvard, so my education is very important to me. I ended sophomore year with a 4.00 GPA (unweighted), taking all honors classes. I will likely study Economics or Mathematics in university.
This Winter/Spring I will participate in FC Stars Winter Showcase (December), ECNL Florida (January), tentatively Penn Fusion (February), ECNL Arizona (April), and ECNL North Carolina (May-June). It should be an action packed FC Stars season! We are hopeful our Stars team will be back at ECNL National Playoffs again this year! I have posted a few highlight videos from past seasons. Thanks for reviewing my profile and considering me!
