Personal Statement
After being introduced to soccer at a young age, I quickly fell in love with every aspect of the game. I dream about playing collegiate soccer at the highest level I can, and I strive to work hard for my goals. I push myself on and off the field to be the best version of myself by working hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA and consistently train and grow my knowledge of the game. I have learned to make sacrifices that will benefit and develop my game. I left my childhood and hometown club this year; and made the transition to a club a hour and a half away. I have learned resiliency and have become a more versatile player. I have been raised as a strong and confident leader. My parents taught me to work hard and never settle, which translates to my play on the field. When I make a mistake, I am sure to take my Coach's advice and properly execute what I could've done better next time. Something that makes me a stand out player is that I have developed my field vision, allowing me to see the passes or runs needed to be effective, along with being able to play both center mid and outside back. I have also been running since I was young and have built up a strong endurance that has benefitted my game. My drive to become the best version of myself I can, to benefit my teammates, pushes me to give my all in training and competitions.
