Hi! My name is Antiya Sidibe and I am currently a rising senior at Ann Arbor Huron High school. I began playing soccer on a recreational team for the fun of it when I was 6 years old, but gradually developed a passion for the sport which later sparked a new goal for me, playing collegiate soccer. I am looking for a school where I can excel both on and off the field. I have aspirations of working in the medical field one day as a pediatrician or nurse practitioner and playing for a school that will prepare me for my life after college is very important to me. Through soccer I have learned to believe in, and push to continually better myself. I have also learned the importance of discipline which has helped me develop a strong work ethic. The competitiveness that I have gained from playing soccer is translated in all aspects of my life! On the field, at school, and at work I’m always pushing to be the best version of myself. Teamwork means a lot to me as well. I have seen what a lot of training and commitment can produce, and there is no better feeling than seeing myself improve alongside my teammates. I am super excited about taking the next step and playing college soccer!
