Sara Zawacki '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5 foot 7 inch outside midfielder from Dearborn, Michigan. I attend Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, the 2009 and 2010 Division II State Soccer Champions. I have been on the varsity team since freshman year. I have been a starter since my sophomore year. At Marian I started playing defense and now play outside midfield. I am a real team motivator both on and off the field. I play premier one soccer with the Livonia City Soccer Club. On my club team, I am a forward and midfielder, but also play defense. I made the ODP state team and attended the Region 2 ODP Camp where our team won the camp tournament. I have a 3.99 GPA. I am looking for a school where I can find the right balance between the classroom and soccer. I would like to attend an institution that has a good academic reputation. I am undecided about my course of study; however, I excel in the areas of math and science. Ideally, I would like to be a part of a program where I can make an immediate impact on the team. I am experienced in and willing to play any field position(s).
