Sophie Renucci '21 Recruiting Profile

I am Sophie Renucci, and I am excited to pursue my passion of soccer in college.  The sport of soccer has been in my life since I was a young child.  My grandfather immigrated to the United States from Italy.  He played professional soccer in his home country and his passion and love of the game influenced my childhood.  We spent a lot of time together on the soccer fields.  He encouraged me to play competitive soccer.  He inspired me to do well in school as well as on the soccer field.  It was an amazing feeling to have him cheering me on from the sidelines.  I am passionate about playing soccer and pursuing higher education.  I am a born leader and thrive on social interaction.  I have excelled in soccer because of my field presence, speed, technical and tactical abilities, and love of the game.  I am looking forward to post high school education and would love the opportunity to continue playing soccer.
