Hi, My name is Veronica but everyone calls me Roni. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I am a switch leg forward as well as attacking mid and a trained goalie. This is my 5th year with DCFC West/Canton Celtic 04 Rouge team we currently play in the NLC. I have a great soccer IQ and I am very creative. I am very good at playing the ball out of the air which makes me very difficult to defend. I also have a cannon of a shot. My right foot averages 55 mph and my left foot 50 mph. I have been told by several coaches that I bring something different to the field and give other players confidence when I am out there. My freshman year I played for my high school. I was 1 of 2 freshmen that made the varsity soccer team. I led my high school team in goals and came in second with assists. I also had the most saves in the net shutting down some great Michigan High School teams like Marshal and Trenton. I was voted player of the game at the Marshal Invitational, Grosse Ile vs. Marshal. I was an all-league 1st team, all-district, all regional, and all-state honorable mention. I was 1 of 3 freshmen chosen for 2019 All Downriver News-Herald Girls' Soccer 1st Team. In my junior year of high school, I was all-league 1st team, all-district, all-regional, all-state, and MVP. I came in second with goals and assists and was ranked #1 goals against goalie in the state in their high school league on Max Prep. My strength in school is math and I am very artistic. I would like to go to school to be a teacher. I have spent a lot of time working with elementary students at my mother's school and found I love it. I have an IEPT that allows me to have support and accommodations in school. I am looking for that just right school both in the classroom and on the field. (My current video posted is from my 9th-grade club versus some of the top teams in the state, I hope to have a more recent video posted soon.)
