Elizabeth Curtis '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! To start, I’d like to say thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Elizabeth Curtis and I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I will be a sophomore at Hartland High School in the fall. I can play any position on the field, but I primarily play the 6. On the field, I pride myself on being tactically smart and being a team leader. I am able to find the right pockets to pass in for my teammates to run onto. I am also not afraid to take a shot on the net if I have the opportunity. While I am usually the 6 , at times I can be found playing the 9 driving at the back line and getting in behind to score a goal to get my team ahead. Another thing that is different about me is that  can easily adapt to different climates/temperatures. After living in Hawaii for 7 years, I can adapt to playing in the heat. Now that I live in Michigan, I can play in the cold weather with ease. Playing for both Liverpool FC Michigan and Surf Academy Hawai’i, that gives me the exposure to every type of playing environment there is. I also have experience playing across the world, as I have played in Barcelona, Spain. 

Academically, I really focus on maintaining high grades. I have received Honor Roll several times. For my whole life, I have always put school before soccer. If I am successful in the classroom, I will be confident and find success on the field.

Wherever I am, whether in the classroom or soccer field, I put 110% into everything I do. Every class, every pass. I give 110% no matter what
