Lilly Kuettel '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lilly Kuettel, I am a Freshman at Duluth East Highschool in Duluth Minnesota. I am a coachable and very determined athlete. I have been playing soccer for 9+ years and have decided to make that my passion. I also believe being a high performing, multi sport athlete is a very capable thing in highschool. I started varsity basketball my 8th grade year and earned my first letter award in both sports. This year I started varsity for soccer and lead the team in goals and assists. (10 goals 7 assists) My big goal is to play at the D1 level but have a very open mindset. I love playing against older and with more experienced girls. I believe pushing myself not only makes me better physically, but also mentally. Position wise, I play striker on my travel team and left wing for high school season. I am very flexible with attacking positions.

Some of my greatest strengths physically are my speed and willingness to go in for a tackle or head the ball. A handfull of my goals this year were headers. As a person my greatest strength is my perseverance and giving 110% every day. I also am a leader on and off the field, as a captain for my travel team. I am not the kind of student who dreads school, I love learning and also bring 110% in the classroom. I am writing my statement as a freshman so I have not really decided what I want to study yet but I am interested in business or project management. I want to take my talent to another level and have the mentality to. That’s why I believe I will not only make a great addition to your team but also an impact. I will give you my all and will bring something to a team that you haven’t seen before.
