Cena Carlson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cena Carlson. I live in a small town in Wyoming. I play soccer because it keeps me active, motivated, and on my toes. My respect for the game grows each day as I practice and find there is more to soccer than anyone can imagine. I play outside mid and center mid, but I can play anywhere on the field. My goals for the future are to play division 1 college soccer. Looking way ahead I have always wanted to play professional soccer. I play for many teams such as South Dakota United, Wyoming ODP, Wyoming 307, Gillette Edge, and my school team, Shattuck St-Marys. I think it's important to get noticed out of state so that's why I play for a South Dakota team and guest play as much as possible. I go to a boarding school to improve academically and on the pitch. I am different from other players because of my positive attitude and determined mindset. On the field, I make a difference because I can make shots from all kinds of angles and I have a great vision of the field. As far as schooling goes, I have had a 4.0 my whole life and would like to continue that. I plan to study medicine in the future.
