Julia Otto '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Julia Otto. I'm a defensive midfielder from Watertown, Minnesota. I joined soccer late, but instantly fell in love with it and was determined to get better daily. I worked hard to eventually get my first varsity call up as an eighth grader and be a varsity starter by freshman year. At the end of sophomore year, I was named captain of my high school team. Looking back, soccer has showed me how to be mentally tough and to always go the extra mile. I have managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my middle school and high school career, where I worked hard as a member of all the honor and college classes offered. During summer, spring, and winter, I play with Eden Prairie Soccer Club 05G NPL. I have recently been named captain for this team as well.  I am looking for a college program that is not only competitive athletically, but also academically. I am ready to take the next step and find a school that will challenge me to become a better athlete and a better person.
