My mother always said that I was a force to be reckoned with. Twelve years ago she made the decision to enroll me in pee-wee soccer. She did this in hopes I would have an outlet for my stubbornness and combative personality. Here I am today, on the Mississippi All Star Team and just got voted as best offensive player for my high school. For a couple of years I played on a competitive level for Rush. I realized quickly that my desire for being a soccer player started to feel more like a burden than a blessing. So I took a break and came back with a new perspective and new goals for myself. I am always trying to improve my game, my instincts, and my standards.
My first love will always be soccer. It has embraced me and I am hooked for life. It is a battle and can deflate even the biggest of egos. So I prepare for war and I hustle. I leave my heart and soul out on that field every single time I play. I play to win. My accomplishments up to this point are no accident. I have overcome obstacles and I have made sacrifices. I am now ready to take my game to the next level and grow as not only a better player but also as a better person.
