Katelyn Mikkelsen '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kate Mikkelsen, and I am 5-foot-5 centerback from St. Charles, Missouri, in the Class of 2024. As a freshman, I started and played every single minute of every Varsity game. In addition, I am captain of my club team, Lou Fusz.  What sets me apart is my speed, stamina, leadership and competitive spirit. As my club coach has said, “Kate is a tireless competitor with an extremely high work rate. Kate is a team leader and always comes ready to compete.”

I attend Duchesne High School and have a 4.4 GPA. I am a student ambassador and am in the honors academy, which is a rigorous academic program for the top students in the class. I also am a member of National Honor Society.

I am looking to major in the fields of either healthcare or medicine. I have a passion to help others and feel like I can use my success in the classroom to contribute back to my community.
