My name is Alyssa Hartsell. I am a student at Nerinx Hall High School a priviate girls school in St. Louis, Missouri. I am finishing my Freshman year and will update my final GPA when it is posted with my final grades. I work extremely hard acedemically and athletically to be the best version of myself that I can be. I always strive to help others and my teammates exceed their expectations on and off the field. Recently, I was a member of the 2024 Missouri Class 4 State Champions at Nerinx Hall on the Varisity soccer team.
Currently, I am 5'9" tall,170 pound player that excels in my primary role as a goalkeeper that enjoys putting my teamates in good positions that help them suceed. While I do strive to make big saves, I enjoy making the small and nessesary simple plays such as everyday glove saves, passing/driving the ball out to defenders, and simple dives to help my team. Additionally, my coaches' have the confidence in my ability to be a leader and be calm in my eighteen.
To explore my experince briefly, I have traveled internationally to The Netherlands to experience the culture and experience their level of soccer. I have played soccer since I was 3 years old. I have played club soccer since 7 years old with 2 clubs. Currently, I play for St. Louis Scott Gallagher. My 1st year, I was a field player and my Illinois coaches suggested I tryout for a higher level team within the club. I was moved halfway through the year to the Missouri side of the club. I was placed on the ECNL-RL team and our 1st full year we won our Midwest Conference and Midwest Region Championships. Then, we qualified for Nationals in Seattle and ultimately finished 5th in the country in 2020 for ECNL-RL. After 2 seasons, I was promoted to the ECNL Green team within our club. I will continue to update how my season is going, please stay tuned.
As I continue to progress, I will provide updates on my progress both academiclly and athletically plus my efforts to make an impact on my community through many volunteer programs and service hours. I am commited to be a strong repersentative of my family, the Nerinx Marker family, and hopefully your university. Please keep in mind, consider following my progress and do not hesitate in reaching out to me for more information. I look foward to meeting you in person.
