Aspen Shields '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. I started out playing AYSO Rec, then moved on to travel soccer a few years after. Travel soccer has allowed me to gain experience playing multiple positions and where I've found my love and passion to be a goalkeeper. Playing the field has helped me develop my vision and understanding of the game to become a better goalkeeper. I currently play for the Colorado Storm/Rapids FC Club in Fort Collins and have been with the club for 3 years now. My family expresses their commitment to my athletic development by traveling two and a half hours, three times a week.

My ultimate goal is to play at the collegiate level. I would like to find a college that challenges me both academically and athletically.
