Sofia Serrano '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sofia Serrano. I am currently 14 years old, and I attend Doral Academy Red Rock Upper School in Las Vegas, Nevada. I always am very involved with my school, and I always keep my grades up. I know that if I want to go to a great Division 1 school, I would have to make school a very big priority. I am the secretary of NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) at my school, and we had to go through a tough voting process. I play for the soccer club Heat FC. We are an ECNL (elite clubs national league) club and I play on the 04 ECNL team, which is the top (A) 04 team you can play for. Key Reid is my coach. We practice on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and we have ECNL games on Sundays. If we don’t play an ECNL game that weekend, then we usually have scrimmages against our older teams.

I am an outside back and I wear the number 7. I am a starting player. I have been playing soccer for a very long time. Some of my strengths in soccer are running fast, making runs out of the back, crossing balls, and getting stuck in on tackles. My strengths in school are ELA, Reading, Science, Geo/History, and of course, P.E.!
