My name is Emma Fedorczyk. I am a Sophomore in Barnegat High School’s graduating class. I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old and instantly fell in love with it. I am a two-year varsity player for Barnegat High School. This year I made 2nd Team B-South for high school soccer. I currently play club soccer for the 2007 PDA Rapids, serving as Captain, and the U17 NJYS Olympic Development Program.
I am a versatile player, who is comfortable using both feet with the ability to excel at any position on the field, although I am most comfortable playing center back. I am a very hardworking player that always strives to do my best in any situation or circumstance. I am very vocal throughout my games and becoming more comfortable reading the field. I have become proficient with containing my opponent, keeping them in front of me, clearing out the ball, and gaining back possession.
Last year, freshman year, I went out of my comfort zone and played lacrosse for the first time. I played at the junior varsity level and attribute my ability to make the team because of my soccer experience. I am very good at juggling the demands of school and extra activities to include sports.
I am willing to do anything I set my mind to in order to be successful. I am a well-rounded player and constantly trying to find new ways to get touches on the ball to grow my potential. I am looking to pursue a degree in the health care field while continuing to grow my soccer career. Being able to go to school and play soccer is a part of my everyday life so I know can succeed in both without a problem. I believe I will be an asset to any college team.
