I'm a firm believer that anything I put my mind to I can accomplish. On and off the field I set goals for myself. Every game I set a goal for myself to play better than the previous game and show my talent and abilities to everyone. This also applies to school, in and out the class I expect to get a better grade than what I got the previous test or quiz for example. Education is really important to me, I'm always a student before an athlete. I believe that I am a very happy/cheerful person and my personality shows through in all that I do. I'm always laughing/joking, but I also know when to get serious and get my job done both on and off the field and in and out of the classroom. I've been told by many that I'm a natural leader and I am a great example for all of my peers and underclassmen. But let's get back to soccer, the game is something that is beautiful to me. Like my coach says "soccer is a beautiful sport when played right". I like to show what I can bring on the field every game or practice. I may be short, but I can pack a big punch. Communication on the field is always important to me. Me as a center back, I'm always communicating with my defensive line and/or the midfielders/forwards. You will always hear my voice when I'm on the field, I am never quite. I'm also very big on teamwork, so I always try to make sure everyone gets along on the field and off the field and that we all have good communication skills with each other. Like I mentioned before I'm a natural leader, I'm very coachable too. I always show respect to my coaches and am well behaved during practices, games, etc. I will never get out of character during a game or practice, rudeness towards my coaches or to anyone are no for me. My goal in playing collegiate soccer is for me to grow as a person and as a player, to set new goals and to push myself beyond the limit. I'm very passionate about this sport & I want to show everyone else what I have to offer, as a soccer player and also as a student-athlete.
