Ingrid Ortiz '26 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing soccer since I was little but became more attentive and discovered it was something I wanted to continue doing when I was older in middle school.I grew up mainly playing soccer with boys I played with all boys till I was in 8th grade which was when I started playing with a girls team where I was quickly made captain from my leadership skills and being a team player. Then my freshman year of highschool I was also made captain and told it was due to my leadership and commitment. In the middle of my freshman season I got moved up to go play with Jv. what makes me different  is that I always try to improve on what I think needs to be worked on and I am always self training and working hard regardless if no one is watching.
