Khushneet Singh '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Khushneet Singh and my family and I are from Jackson NJ. Growing up, I tried playing different sports like basketball and track. Luckily, soccer is the game that I started to love and now have a passion for. At the age of 7 I started playing travel soccer with my township team. Soon after, I started to get competitive, I wanted to get better and better. So, I started to train more not only with my team, but at home too. This mindset is what separated me from my other teammates. In 2020, I started playing with NJODP. This program has given me many opportunities to showcase myself to scouts throughout the years. After I gained confidence in my ability to play, my parents and I decided it was time for me to play in a league that is even more competitive. So, I started playing at Cedar Stars Academy. My parents have taught me and are still teaching me valuable lessons such as working hard to succeed and taking responsibility for my actions. I hope that one day with their lessons and my hard work I play in college while studying business, and then continuing to play professionally after I graduate. Outside of soccer I like to spend time with my family since I’m busy with soccer and parents are busy with work. I also enjoy going to school to learn new things and meet up with my friends during the school year.
