Hello Coaches!
My name is Juliet Givoni and I aspire to play soccer in College- at a well respected institution. I am a double-footed player that has the ability to play a variety of positions on the field. For my club team -STA 2008 Girls Academy, I play outside back and outside midfield. I completed my high school soccer season as Freshman where I was a starter on Varsity and played every minute of every game in all different positions. I am on the ODP NJ team (4 consecutive years) and play on a Boys EDP team (Quick Touch Futbol). I have also competed in the National Futsal Regionals and Championships with both YESA and Gold Star Futsal Academy. As a Sophomore, I won 1st team all conference and county, coming in second in the county with most goals.
What makes me unique is my technical ability --being able use both feet and get out of pressure quickly. I am very strong 1v1 and can play both defensively and as an attacker. I am told I have a very accurate/powerful shot with both feet and take corners. I would also consider myself a person that studies the game and strives to get better. I am not a flashy player and you may not notice me right away. But I am a player that makes the connections with accurate technical passes and what my teammates and coaches would call "necessary and reliable." I am big observer and do not like being the center of attention - but I am very competitive, driven and strong.
I am dedicated to achieving academic excellence and currently have a weighted GPA of 4.7/5.0 in all honors classes and 1 AP (The only one I am allowed to take.) In addition to playing soccer, I play basketball, run track, and am hoping to play lacrosse for my High School. I am on Model UN, Math Honors Society and serve as a math, science and spanish tutor for students in need. I also volunteer for the JESPY House - a place for adults with mental and physical disabilities. I am certified lifeguard and proficient in Spanish.
My goal is to find a college where I can contribute to the school community both athletically and academically. Thank you for reading my profile!
