Ava McGregor '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ava McGregor. I am from Middletown, New Jersey. I'm currently a senior attending Middletown High School North. I'm 5'4 and 130 lbs. I am a relentless defensive player that loves to overlap playing on the outside. I can play anywhere on the field and will always put the team before myself. I'm a hard worker that will push myself to the limit, never give in, and always have my teammates backs. Where ever I'm needed, I will work hard to make sure I get my job done.

I have a real passion for soccer and I wish to play in college. I'm open to going to any type of school, just as long as they have a good quality education and soccer team. Besides going to a good school and playing soccer in college, other goals I want to is to be a presence on the field and be a game changer. I prefer and am most comfortable playing the outside back/mid position.

Over the years, I have played for GFP Strykers for Hutch Noavchek, this season I have recently joined nationally ranked FC Copa G00 Red. My dedication, fitness and work rate set me apart from the other players. In addition to soccer, I hold my school's record for the 4x200 indoor track and have earned 5 varsity letters for track and soccer. What I am looking for in a college is a place where I can develop my academics and athletics to their maximum potential. I am the player that likes to create bonds with my teammates like no other. Wherever I go to school, my motivation and work rate will always be the same.
