Grace Gironda '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grace Gironda and I am a 2025 Attacking/Defensive center midfielder for Middletown High School South in Middletown, NJ and Cedar Stars Academy - Monmouth GA.  As a freshman, I was a starting center midfielder for varsity, led the team in assists, scored 2 game winning goals, was named a Top 100 Freshmen in NJ and won my team's Rising Eagle Award which is given to the best varsity newcomer.  This year as a sophomore I am also a starting center midfielder and was named a Top 100 Sophomore in NJ.  Our team just won the NJ State Sectional Championship for Central Jersey Group 3.  I currently have a 3.82 out of 4.00 GPA

At Cedar Stars Monmouth, I was a multiple year captain of my club team before being promoted to our club's Girls Academy League team. I love being a leader and look forward to being a captain again.  Last year, we qualified for the Girls Academy League playoffs and we finished second in our group.  

Many coaches have said I am a smart player and have a high soccer IQ. I enjoy learning new formations, analyzing games and practicing in my free time.   I don't just want to play in college - I hope to be a starter and contributor.  I want to win conference championships and create life long friendships with my teammates and coaches.  I want to earn a degree from a school that will help me be successful in life after soccer.
