Panar Shamali '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Panar Shamali, I live in Bordentown, NJ and I am a 2027 graduate at Moorestown Friends School. I am 15 years old. I have been playing soccer since 2015. I play as a varsity starter for my high school. I played as a centerback for PDA North Blue team, and we went to Nationals in 2022. Currently, I play with Real Jersey FC 09 GA as a left or right centerback. On the field, I love to communicate with my teammates and one of my strengths is my passing ability, reading the field and my physicality. Besides soccer, I have been playing piano for the past 10 years and I have participated in numerous international competitions with Crescendo International. I also speak three languages fluently including Chechen, Arabic, and English and I am currently working on my fourth language, Spanish. I am interested in Pre-Med as a major in college. I would love the opportunity to further my academic and soccer career at the collegiate level.

“Panar is Physically dominant CB that is effective in isolation. Tenacious attitude with good recovery speed, covers ground well to restrict space. Composed in possession with a good passing range to be efficient in buildup play and break initial pressure. A need to continue to recognize the opposition press and subsequent available options, finding the free player to allow the team to progress the ball forward. Ensure that passes have a purpose. Naturally quiet but has the presence to be a leader, building confidence to communicate and organize teammates will naturally aid the process. Continue to develop the reading of the game to anticipate dangerous situations and understand how to restrict space collectively and individually.”
