McKenna Chisholm '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is McKenna, some people call me Baby G(giraffe) because of my height. I am currently a Junior starter at Ocean City High School in NJ. I was just named as an All-Star for my league; one of only 15 players from our 21 member schools. I was also selected to the New Jersey Girls Soccer, All-State team, 1st Team All Press Area and Cape May County 1st Team All Star.  We finished the season at 15-0-4, winning both our conference and our league championships.  We are ranked #18 for all high school soccer teams in the state for the 2022 season.  Last season we went 21-1-1, winning the South Jersey Coaches Cup, Cape Atlantic League title, and making it to the semi-finals of group 3 NJSIAA tournament. I was named a Press of AC All Star after my sophomore season.  My team is one of 3 undefeated teams in New Jersey as of 10/28/22.  

I also play for RUSA FC Gold 06, and we are currently ranked 2nd in NJ, and 3rd in the Nation. Last year we played in th National League Pro Series where we "Earened Our Place"  at the National Chapionship in July '22.  Our only loss was to the eventual champion.  We played in the PDA tournament in May 2022, winning all 3og our games against GA teams. We are competing in the NL Pro Serieas again this year and were at CASL in December '22. 

We went undefeated in both tournaments in December.  We played teams from GA and Elite 64 at CASL.  Wewill be at NL PRO in Greenboro, NC and Jeff Cup in March of 2023. As a result of my play and the play of my team in NL PRO in Orlando in December, I was just named Best XI by ProSoccer for NL Orlando 06G.  I am honored to have been chosen as one of 3 defenders out of 64 teams for this accolade.

I don’t really ever stay in one place on the feild during a game. I am comfortable and confident playing on all three lines as I do for my club team almost every game and quite often for my high school team as well. I am prodominantly a central player and I am a target for set plays on both teams. 

My goal is to continue growing as a player to be able to play at the next level.
