Madi Zellmann '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madi Zellmann and I am a goalkeeper.  I started playing soccer when I was 8 years old and have been in love with the game ever since. I pride myself on being a student of the game and a hard worker both on and off the field. I have played on numerous club travel teams throughout my youth soccer journey. I train for soccer year round through my high school and club teams.  My freshmen and sophomore year I was the starting goalkeeper for my high school JV team.  Junior year I continued to play JV as Keeper and Captain. I also dressed for some of the varsity games.  As I prepare for my senior year, I have been working towards my goal of a permanent spot on the varsity team.  Soccer is a huge part of my life and I feel most free when I am on the field.  Playing in college has always been a dream of mine and I hope it will soon become a reality.
