Katie Lundy '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Katie Lundy and I'm a part of the class of 24'. Soccer has been a natural love and practice for me since I was introduced to the game. I acknowledge that I've had to work to improve my techniques and tactical understanding of aspects of the game. I've made it my goal to adjust and put in the effort mentally and physically to adapt to the challenge of being a shorter athlete. In my opinion, this has worked to my benefit because I'm used to having to work on my approach to challenges, making me adaptable and versatile. Specifically, I've always played in midfield or as a striker. Last year, my coach tried me at outside back. I was unsure how well I would perform, but I still gave it my all. Little did I know this would become my main position. This is just one example of what I can offer to whatever team I'm on. As an outside back, I can still create and score goals (last fall season I scored 3 goals on corners!) I bring this approach to academics as well. I work hard to maintain good grades am taking 3 APs my senior year. I prioritize academics as well as athletics as I'd love to study Criminal Justice or Criminology in college.
