Katie Hammack '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katie Hammack. I am 5'9 and a very strong, physical player. I am looking for a top level college that will allow me to not only play soccer competitively, but also focus on my academics. I take pride in my school work and do the absolute most I can in order to achieve the grades I do. I only accept straight A's in all honors classes and have taken 7  AP classes. I play for both club and school teams and do all I can to improve as a player. I started on Varsity as a freshman and am now #2 in career goals and # 2 for goals scored in the 2015. We are the Jersey Shore Class A South Champions for last three years in a row.

My athletic skills include physicality and strength, ball-winning, and tactical/technical skills. I always make sure to know what to do with the ball before it hits my feet. I also take pride in the leadership role both on and off the field. I get along with all of my coaches, and I get along with teammates just as well. We all win as a team and lose as a team. I have a very "go getter" attitude and believe anything can be achieved if you want it enough and are willing to put in the hours of sweat and hard work. My goal is to play soccer at a competitive school that offers prestigious academics. I am looking for a school that will challenge me both on the field and in the classroom. I've been playing the game I love my whole life and I am extremely excited to play throughout my college career.
