My name is Sofia Campadonico. I am a 2025 goalkeeper. I have been playing soccer all my life and have always aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know playing the sport I love in college is an opportunity that could change my life.
I am a skilled goalkeeper with strong ball-handling skills, mental and physical toughness, and an excellent soccer IQ. I know the game exceptionally well, as demonstrated through my field leadership. I am vocal on the field, directing my teammates and securing my defensive line. I am a coachable and serious player, dedicated to my growth as a goalkeeper.
I maintain a steady 4.0 unweighted GPA in the classroom, receiving honor roll every trimester of my high school career. I am an active member of my school ERASE, LGBTQIA+, and Art Club and a competitor for Career Pathways to Communication Arts for Skills USA. I am also an active member of my school community as I volunteer in Girl Scouts, paint promotional murals, and work at a nonprofit natural pool in my hometown, Ringwood.
I work year-round playing with Stateline SC, based in Bergen County, New Jersey. I play in the Mid-Atlantic Conference of the USYS National League Platinum. For my senior season, I have signed up with STA Girls Academy and am excited to play at a more competitive level with and against some of the most skilled players in the country. Besides managing club soccer and being an influential varsity member of my school's soccer team at Passaic County Technical Institute, I am also a varsity participant in the flag football and track and field teams.
