My passion for soccer started at only 4 years old where I would play for my school during the fall seasons. I started club soccer with local small clubs at the age of 11 years old. I started playing for the BC United Premier '08 girls team at 12 years old. I played for my school starting at the varsity level in 7th grade as a starting left wing. For BC United I will generally play as striker, my shots at goal, footskills, and speed are generally what coaches notice first. For school soccer they play me on left wing due to the fact that I shoot well with my left foot, my endurance, and ability to move the ball up the field well. I play where coaches feel is best for the team, to me being versatile is important so I can assist the team wherever the coach thinks is best. I have always played on offense, however, I am a strong defensive player as well. I train year round and will always add in additional footskills training and extra training sessions whenever possible. To assist in staying strong year round I am a tri athlete and also play basketball where I started in 7th grade in JV, and moved up to JV/Varsity in 8th grade. I play softball in the spring where I started that at a varsity level in 8th grade. I, however, live, eat, and breathe soccer and plan to continue training year round through out my highschool career and to excel in school and soccer to the best of my abiltity. I am a good teammate, friend, student, and I am extremely coachable. I am quiet off the field, however, I am strong and communicate well on the field.
