I have been playing soccer since I was young, and I’ve always wanted to pursue a future in it. I fell in love with the game and the community that comes with it. Whether at practice or in a match, I try to always bring energy and intensity, trying to push myself and my teammates to be better every day. Playing soccer at the collegiate level has been a long-time goal of mine, and I am extremely committed to making it a reality. I want to join a program and have a true impact, helping to raise the team's level and leaving the program stronger than when I got there.
In addition to soccer, I have competed on my school’s varsity track and field team for the past two years (2023 and 2024), which have increased qualities such as my mental toughness and endurance that translate directly onto the soccer field. I concentrated on track exclusively during the 2023 season and while I enjoyed testing my limits in that sport, I realized that my true passion was playing soccer.
Beyond just athletics, I am dedicated to making an impact off the pitch as well. I am an executive board member of two school clubs and a volunteer + President for Chappaqua’s Letters for Rose chapter, a national volunteer organization. My commitment to service has been recognized with two Gold Presidential Volunteer Awards, which reflects my dedication to leadership. Also, I have a passion for writing and painting, entering competitions regularly and earning first place in the Chappaqua Library Writing Competition. These experiences and passions of mine have strengthened my ability to balance academics, athletics, and any outside hobbies I want to pursue, which prepare me to thrive in a competitive college environment.
