Teamwork, dedication, sacrifice, leadership. These are some of the many lifelong skills I've learned in the past 12 years playing soccer. Starting at four years old, I knew this was the sport for me. I loved running, passing, shooting, and of course scoring. The ball moves fast on the field, and quick decisions have to be made. These under pressure situations on the field have also shown me how to critically think in other situations off of the field. Balancing academics and athletics is something I am very good at doing, and hope to continue throughout my college career. I am an extremely coachable player, and I am always looking to improve in any way. As a future educator, and possible coach, I really appreciate all of the hard work my coaches put in to getting the best out of me. I pay attention to every word, and do my best to execute. I hope to become a role model to my future athletes as my coaches are to me today.
