I'm a very well rounded person. I play soccer and I try to keep my grades above a 3.5 gpa. I'm the president for a youth program in the EOC(economic opportunity comission) and treasure for Nassau county. I do community service in my church by counting the money, sort of like a treasurer. And as in character, I would say that I'm a very determined, persistent, hard working, responsible, respectful, outgoing, friendly and kind person. Overall I'm a very mature person for my age. On the other hand my soccer career began when I was about 7-8 years old and I never learned from a team. I learned in my house playing with men because no girl liked to play so I stuck to the resources I had. When I started to get older I started motivating myself to be better and practice every day if I could because only with practice I could've made the varsity team. And I eventually did. My 8th grade year I remember practicing everyday in the sun teaching myself and making myself learn. I would also watch videos on YouTube. So when I tried out for the high school team I remember the coach at that time telling me " I would move you up to varsity but I don't want you sitting on the bench I want you playing" so my freshman year of high school I played jv and I played two varsity games as a guest because some girls were injured and it was an amazing experience and after that I told myself everyday " you have to get better, you have to make varsity!!!!" And my sophomore year I played varsity. And I couldn't be happier, soccer is my happiness in every aspect of life. It honestly gives me life, and like I say, I can play soccer for breakfast lunch and dinner and I won't get tired of it. It just fulfills my needs. And like any athlete you need good grades!! Well I'm the type of athlete that thinks for their future and school is my future. College is my key to success in life. Education plays a really important roll in my life and i take it very serious because if I want to get into a good college I need a good gpa!!
