Hi, my name is Nevaeh Winston and I am in the class of 2021 at Mount Saint Mary’s Academy which is in Kenmore New York. I started playing both soccer and baseball when I was four years old. By the time I was 6, I realized that soccer was the sport that I loved, and it still is to this day. Always wanting to improve, I have gone to many different Soccer & Goalkeeper camps. I am fearless in Goal; I will dive and go after any ball that comes my way no matter how many players are there. Through the years of playing I have learned that working as a team is most important. Getting along with everyone and having good communication on & off the field is also key to having a great team and a team that succeeds. Taking what I have learned I plan on being the best teammate and student I can be in the next step of my life. I always tell myself that when wanting to succeed I must want to and push myself to be the best I can be for myself and my teammates. My most memorable play was in a tournament in Wilson NY where we scored off my punt, it bounced in front of the goalie and went over her head and in the goal! The next best thing is stopping PK’s.
While I have continued to play soccer the whole time, I also played volleyball, basketball & tennis (in 9th grade) and in 10th & 11th grade I also played basketball & tennis. I love to help others and I perform more community service hours than is required for school. I am also a coachable player. When you show or tell me how to do something, I will do my best to do it.
Thank you for taking your time to view my profile.
