Charlotte Benson '24 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Charlotte Benson and I'm a 2024 outside back with strong dribbling and 1v1 defensive/offensive skills. I currently play in Cary, NC for the Wake FC 06 GA team . I also am a junior at Southern Nash High School. I was filled with joy when I was selected to join the team. My hard work and effort has finally paid off. Coaches describe me as coachable, and hardworking. 

This is my first year with the team, but my ninth year playing soccer. I previously played for WYSA 06 Girls where we won NPL and State Cup championships. I’m originally from California, where I played for Surf Soccer Club for six years! Making the move to North Carolina was not only challenging, but it was exciting. I would get to experience a new competitive environment, as well as meet new people along the way. 

My goal in life is to play collegiate soccer. Throughout my soccer career, it's what I've strived for. I would love to major in nutrition or physical therapy.
