Something I think that sets me apart from other players is just my passion and love for the game of soccer. I didn't start playing as young as a lot of players did. I played rec soccer until I was about twelve or thirteen years old. I didn't start on the best team, have a lot of raw skill, and I wasn't ever the best player, but I always wanted to be as good as my teammates were and be better. Outside of soccer, I did everything I could to put myself in good positions to be more of an asset to my team whether it was making sure my grades were high or working by myself at home and even watching Youtube videos on how to be a good teammate or leader. I had amazing coaches throughout the years who really supported me and helped me gain confidence in myself. I worked my way up to the high-level club team I play for now and I don't stop working. I think my work ethic has gotten me to where I am today and will hopefully take me as far as I want to go. Soccer has helped me become such a confident and outgoing person and my love for the game has never changed. My dreams in life are to keep playing, no matter what level it is. Even though I might not have the same number of years behind me as other players, I've worked harder in five years than some players will ever work, and it's because of how much soccer means to me.
