Hanna Rogers '21 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has always been important to me. My most memorable experience was when my school soccer team won our conference and got to bring back a trophy that hadn't been in our school in over five years. That was also the year that I got voted MVP Defensive player by my coaches. I want to play for a college team to learn and grow as a soccer player and as a person. I like being part of something bigger than myself. I have always preferred defense over other positions. The stability and the order that you need for a good defensive line is what drew me to be a center back. I can play 3, 2, 5 and 4 although my favorite is 2.

Not just conducting yourself on the field is important; you also have to conduct yourself off the field. I currently have a 4.61 weighted GPA. In my free time I enjoy volunteer work at Hope Animal Rescue and being a Big Sister for 6-8 year old girls that are aspiring soccer players at my club.  What likely makes me unique versus other soccer players is that I am also a downhill ski racer and ski instructor.   I look forward to being a strong defensive contributor on whatever soccer program I play for in college.
