Elli Wagner '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elli Wagner, and I live in Raleigh, NC. I have been playing soccer since I was seven years old. I've been playing club soccer at North Carolina FC and for my school teams, playing various positions, from goalie to forward for the last nine years. For the past four years, I have been focusing on the goal keeping position, and I am currently the starting goalie for my club and school teams. I enjoy the goalie positions as it allows me to be a leader on the field and impact the outcome of the game. I aspire to continue to be involved in the sport for the balance of my high school years and continue into college. I am looking for a College/University that is the best fit for me athletically and academically. As of right now, I am interested in the fields of medicine, aerospace engineering, and criminology as academic pursuits.

Two major achievements by my club soccer team during the fall season, we only had two goals scored on us during the entire season and we made it to the finals of the NC Kepner State Cup Championship!
