Hi my name is Linsey Taylor Smith but my friends and mentors call me Taylor. I am currently a senior at Spring Creek High School. I started playing soccer when I was five years old and instantly fell in love with the game. I am a three year starter from my freshman year all the way up to my junior year, unfortunately my junior season got cut short but I have high hopes for my upcoming senior season. Currently, I am playing club soccer for Wilson Youth Soccer Association in first division.
A few of my top qualities as a player is that I’m very coachable, a quick learner, and I have breakaway speed. All of these qualities combined make me stand out from other players. I have the ability to run the defense as a center back and quickly transition to a scoring threat as a striker. Among my coaches and peers, these qualities have earned me the nicknames workhorse and utility player.
I take pride in my academics as much as I take pride in my athletics. I have been an ‘A’ honor roll student throughout my entire school career. I have taken several honors classes and I am currently taking some college courses. I am currently a member of the National Honor Society, Future Bussiness Leaders of America, and Health Occupations Students of America. My goal is to receive a quality education while playing the sport I love at a collegiate level.
