Jordyn Sunram '22 Recruiting Profile

I played many sports when I was little. My parents had me try many different sports but I always gravitated back to soccer. A big thing that motivates me playing center back is that I am the last line of defense and knowing that I have the trust of my coaches and teammates to protect the goal. 

I have been a loyal player on the club team that I have played on previously. When I was younger we had girls that were leaving the club but me and a few other girls wanted to stay. We liked playing with each other but we wanted to get better as soccer players and be challenged against better teams and the girls that left the club.

My career aspirations are to play soccer after high school while getting a degree in sports medicine or in sports management so I can stay involved in the game I love.  I am also interested in becoming a coach at either the high school level or at a local club. 

I feel my height, speed and demeanor by staying clam during an attack make me a good fit to play at the next level.
