Personal Statement
Beginning at the age of 4, I began to grow not only as a player, but as a person, as well. I learned the value of teamwork, leadership, commitment, and sportsmanship. Winning the championship of the Bowling Green tournament my eighth grade year has been a highlight of my soccer career. However, losing in the second game of play offs, in over-time, my freshman year of high school really opened my eyes. I realized I wanted to move on to play at the college level which meant that I really needed to focus on my efforts and commitment.
I have been blessed to have made the varsity team my freshman year, and be apart of the family that the sport develops. I have learned how important commitment, cooperation, leadership, and effort is. A goal I am working to achieve is becoming valedictorian of my graduating class, and obtaining a four year varsity award. I believe that I have the focus and skills to make a good impact on your team. I am looking for a school that will fit me both athletically and academically. With my dedication and leadership, I know that I have what it takes to be a great leader for your team.
