My name is Lexi Grice from Beavercreek, Ohio. I play for Beavercreek High School on varsity and for Metro FC in Dayton, Ohio as a goalkeeper. I consider myself to be a very hard-working athlete who is always looking to improve their game in any way possible. I have strong leadership qualities, which have been very beneficial for my teams. I make my presence known and leave all I have on the field every game.
Outside of soccer, I compete in track and Olympic Weightlifting. For track, I throw shot put and hammer. I’ve been competing at the varsity ever since my freshman year and have made it all the way to district championships since then. In Olympic Weightlifting, I’ve competed for over three years in various competitions, including the 2017 Arnold Classic. I believe my variety of sports has helped me become a better athlete.
I aspire the play at the highest level I can. Not only do I want to play for a good school with a good coach, I want to get the best education possible. I want to go to a school that focuses on its academics as much as it’s athletics. No matter where I end up, I am determined to be the hardest working player on the team. Not only will I push myself to be better, I will push my teammates to be better.
I am happy to announce that I have verbally committed to play soccer at Wilmington College. Thank you for all the coaches who have taken the time to recruit me to play at the next level. I truly appreciate it and wish you the best of luck in your upcoming season.
