Tala Hamdan '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Tala Hamdan. Im 17 year olds, and I graduate in 2023. I play soccer and I have been since I was 4 years old. Im a left footer and I play at the wing, left back, and an attacking midfielder. Soccer holds a great significance to me. My passion for soccer goes beyond just the game. Ive played other sports like running track and playing basketball. Ive always been on the athletic side. My academics are as important as soccer is to me. I always stay on top of my grades and classes. I take college courses as a high school student and I have been since my sophomore year of high school.  

My strengths vary from qualities that are off the field but without a doubt carry onto the field. I love hearing criticism and I'm always striving to be a better player and a better person overall. Undeniably, I take criticism well. I always put in the most effort I can, and thats for every aspect of my life. I always push myself and I make sure to go after every ball. I never limit myself to what I can do. Lastly, I always make it a priority to build relationships with everyone around me. I build strong and substantial relationships with my teammates and coaches. I believe things like this sets a team up for success. Overall, Im a quick learner and a good team player as well as a coachable player. Im excited to see where my soccer journey takes me. 

I briefly mentioned my academics, but as I mentioned previously Ive taken and recently do take college courses. Ive finished all my high school credits as a junior, and I am ahead of my class. What comes with that is a lot of time management, consistency, and dedication.  Because I have all my credits done, I do have the ability to graduate early, and the option is definitely open. My academics mean just as much as my athletics do, and I hold myself to a high standard with how I preform in both aspects. My plans for college is to do law. Im weighing my options with what specific law I want study, but I am taking different classes that give me a variety options to which one I want to do.
